As part of our commitment to the ongoing care and enhancement of the McKinley Beach community, we would like to advise you that a tree removal and replacement project will take place between Monday, April 7th and Thursday, April 17th.
The project will begin along McKinley Beach Drive, followed by Shayler Road, Water Birch Circle, and finally Bluegrass Lane.
Work will be conducted Monday April 7 to Friday April 17, between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
During this period, a total of 58 dead or diseased Aspen trees will be removed from the boulevards within the Hillside area. This work is necessary to ensure public safety and to improve the overall health and appearance of our streetscapes.
Tree Replacement Plan:
Replacement will be Crimson Sentry Columnar Maples as the selected; these trees are well-suited to the Hillside environment and will contribute to the long- term health, beauty, and diversity of our community’s boulevards.
Additionally, improvements to the irrigation system will be completed to support the establishment and growth of the new trees.
Residents are kindly asked to avoid parking in the designated work areas during the project period.
All vehicles must be removed from the affected boulevards to allow for safe and efficient work.
Please pay attention to all posted signs and directions provided by traffic control personnel.
